A brand identity is the full visual and verbal language that makes you recognizable everywhere you show up: the logo, yes, but also your color palette, typography, imagery, graphic elements, tone of voice, and the rules that hold them together. An identity system is what lets you look and sound like yourself across a website, a pitch deck, a trade show booth, and a cold email, without starting from scratch each time.

It depends on scope, but a complete system typically includes a logo suite, a defined color palette, typography, imagery and art direction, supporting graphic elements, and the usage guidelines that govern how it all goes together.
